We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be providing HR and Payroll integration between IRIS HR Core & Pro and Earnie, IRIS Payroll Professional, IRIS Payroll Business, IRIS Bureau Payroll and IRIS Payroll for Accountants.

With this HR and Payroll integration, we’ll be able to increase the efficiency of our existing clients and any company looking to save time, regardless of their sector, by seamlessly integrating their HR software and Payroll software.

Why integrate HR and Payroll software?

By integrating your HR and Payroll software, you’ll be able to exchange payroll and employee information between your systems without any effort.

The system we’ve developed only requires minimal configuration, after which you’ll be able to seamlessly receive information directly into your Payroll from your HR system.

This means you’ll be able to:

  • Create employees
  • Amend static employee information
  • Enter variable pay information

With this feature, we’re confident that our customers will experience improved payroll processing efficiency, as they’ll only have to enter employee and payroll information once from now on.

Improving the employee experience

This integration will also improve the employee experience by allowing them to view their payslips, P60s and pension letters in the same portal as their holidays and sickness.

As an employer, you’ll be able to publish payslips, P60s and pension letters from payroll and display them in the employee HR system. Here, this payroll information will be visible within the same portal as holidays, sickness and other personal information.

By streamlining your existing system, you’ll be able to improve employee self-service and increase employee engagement. This should help reduce the number of employee admin requests fielded by your HR and Payroll teams.

Improving accuracy

When it comes to reducing the administrative burden, this integration is designed to reduce the potential of errors by removing duplication of data entry.

Common data entry errors include miscalculations of salary or hourly rates, and the transposition of numbers leading to incorrect National Insurance numbers. Issues like these have been considered and resolved in our latest update.

Once your HR and Payroll software have been integrated, you’ll have increased payroll processing efficiency with a minimum risk of error in handling employee and payroll information.
