Customer Kings Award goes to IRISThe results of a search to find 2009’s best customer focused companies were announced today. The ‘Customer Kings’ competition, in its inaugural year, recognises an elite few that go above and beyond traditional measures to ensure customer satisfaction, particularly acknowledging innovation and the creative use of technology.

IRIS was awarded a ‘High Commendation’ by the judges who praised the firm for providing exemplary support to its customers.

Judges highlighted the company’s forward-thinking use of technology to encourage customer loyalty via the active monitoring of clients’ use of their software. Specific reference was made to the
IRIS PROJECTminder financial project management system with one of the highest client retention rates in the industry - 98%. Its SaaS delivery model allows the support team to check readings on the internal servers and use that feedback proactively to suggest ways in which customers can maximise their return on their investment.

Furthermore, IRIS Payroll which services over 30,000 UK businesses including most of the UK’s GP Practices, has had phenomenal success through its highly proactive approach to customer service during the peak payroll season.
As the judges observed, outstanding customer retention levels reflect IRIS’ long standing commitment to provide the best customer service to its 60,000 software users. As a sector specialist, the company has market leading positions in a number of key sectors including accountancy practices, solicitors, barristers, not-for-profit and healthcare.
