Problem
It has been reported by some users that Companies House are rejecting Confirmation Statements (CS01) with the following message: Rejection details: Our records show that this company does not have a principal business activity code.
Resolution
The rejection will occur if there is no SIC code on record at Companies House. This should only affect companies that are incorporated between June 2015 and June 2016.
Please follow the below steps to create the log:
1. Enter the SIC code | Enter relevant date (date of incorporation) | Select Log
2. Re-generate the CS01 form – (The SIC code should now appear on the CS01 form).
