Ian Ashby - Managing Director,
IRIS NFP & Major Business Solutions
Ian joined the IRIS Executive Management team in September 2007,
and brings with him exceptional business experience.
Prior to joining IRIS, Ian held a number of CEO/MD and senior
Sales and Marketing roles in the UK and Europe in both publicly
traded and privately held companies within the telecommunications
and technology/IP industries.
These roles included VP Sales and Marketing for major European
integrator NextiraOne (formerly part of Alcatel), Divisional CEO
for Novar PLC, EMEA VP for Lucent Technologies (now Avaya
Communications) and MD roles at the Cable & Wireless
Group.
Immediately prior to joining IRIS, Ian was CEO of Exony, a
UK-based software vendor focused on value-added applications for
the enterprise contact centre market, where he led the company’s
rapid growth.
Ian has an MA (Hons) and an MEng in Chemical Engineering from
Cambridge University, and spent his early career in the oil and gas
industry.
