CBM modernises its membership management with Integra

17 June 2008

The Confederation of British Metalforming (CBM) has selected IRIS NFP Solutions, the leading software provider to the UK Not for Profit sector, to supply the organisation with a web-integrated membership database.  CBM will deploy the Integra solution from IRIS, enabling the Confederation to streamline business processes and improve customer service.

Integra will provide CBM with a modern membership relationship management solution specifically designed for NFP organisations, supporting the Confederation’s continuous growth. Helping CBM to gain a better understanding of its membership through significantly improved information management, the Confederation can build its services around its members’ needs and develop stronger relationships with them.

Integra will replace CBM’s existing disparate databases with a comprehensive, fully web-integrated solution delivering the Confederation extensive operational efficiencies. With Integra CBM can significantly reduce duplication of efforts whilst driving its services online, providing its members with a web self-service functionality. This will deliver considerable cost and time savings as well as ROI to CBM over time.

Kirsi Lintula, Marketing & Communications Manager at the Confederation of British Metalforming comments: “We were well impressed by the professionalism and the sector expertise of the Integra team as well as IRIS’s convincing track record in the NFP sector. With the powerful reporting and analysis tools as well as the high level of automation in the system, Integra will enable us to further develop and grow as a modern membership association”.

The implementation project is due to kick off in mid-June with the go-live scheduled for October 2008. CBM will deploy the Integra back office functionality in the first stage, including core relationship management, financials and events management, with the Integra web publishing tools implemented in the second stage in early 2009.

Simon Fowler, Managing Director at IRIS NFP Solution comments: “As the NFP sector specialists, IRIS can offer first class support and in-depth expertise to the Confederation of British Metalforming. Integra will enable CBM to efficiently manage all their key business processes, providing the Confederation with a single view of its relationships as well as a future proof platform for its continuous growth for many years to come”.

Kirsi Lintula concluded: “Integra will allow us to bring all our processes in line and improve our stakeholder communications. We’ve been very pleased with the quality of service IRIS have delivered and long forward to a long and fruitful partnership with them”.
