The Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) is extending its
current Profile Concept installation by deploying the powerful
suite of Web Access Modules (WAM) over the coming months to benefit
from full web integration.
Profile Concept will provide ILEX with the
ability to serve its members and other stakeholders more
efficiently online, streamlining the organisation’s business
processes and delivering significant return on investment.
The Institute of Legal Executives is a professional
body which represents Legal Executives and trainee Legal
Executives, enhancing their role and standing in the legal
profession. With over 22,000 members, ILEX is a leading provider of
comprehensive legal education, offering a wide range of courses of
all levels in law and legal practice. Furthermore, the Institute
influences law reform and works to improve standards among the
profession.
ILEX has been successfully deploying a
Membership Management solution from IRIS (formerly CS Group) for
managing its contacts, exams, courses, events and merchandising
since 1989. To ensure customer service underpins all the activities
of the ILEX Group, the organisation decided to automate its
business processes by integrating the ILEX website with its Profile
Concept database. This will allow ILEX to offer value added
services and information to members, students and other
stakeholders. It will also create a secure, personalised extranet
area that enables members to manage their profile and preferences,
providing an improved experience for the users and enhanced data
management for the organisation.

The Profile Concept web software that ILEX will
be implementing over the coming months includes subscription
renewals, secure payment gateway, receipt printing, UK address
capture and verification and direct debit mandate capture and
verification. All transactions will be conducted in real-time
without the need for database synchronisation or system management
chores, providing ILEX with the benefits of 24/7 trading and
unattended transaction processing.
