The latest major update of IRIS Practice Software (version
8.8.) has been approved for compatibility with Microsoft Windows
Vista. IRIS is one of the first software developers in the
accountancy practice market to be accredited by Microsoft for the
‘Works with Windows Vista’ programme.
Windows Vista is the new Microsoft
operating system and was launched on November 30th 2006
for the business market. According to Microsoft, Windows Vista
provides enhanced security features and the tools for co-operation
and communication across geographic borders, IT systems and
business units.
