IRIS Enterprise Software, part of the newly enlarged IRIS
Software Group, has today announced the launch of a new IRIS CRM
Suite designed for its Exchequer accounting and business
product.
This latest development is the first of several significant
enhancements due to be launched over the coming months and signals
a substantial investment by the IRIS Software Group, which now
ranks in the top 6 of Software and Service providers in the UK, in
the award winning Exchequer product.
IRIS CRM delivers a new end to end suite of CRM modules that are
100% focused on the needs of the front office and that crucially
are fully integrated with the Exchequer accounting system.
"The new IRIS CRM suite is significantly more sophisticated than
those offered by most other mid-market accounting software
vendors," comments Rob Steele, Product Director. "Most software
authors have shied away from the task of developing full Customer
Relationship Management functionality, developing limited surface
level systems with ineffective contact manager modules."
"Our research shows that this is simply not enough and today's
businesses have far more sophisticated needs. They are demanding
fully integrated solutions with complete Customer Relationship
Management functionality."
Headline features for this exciting new suite of modules
include:
- Integration with sales and purchase ledger including drill-
down
- Instant access to historical sales information to sales
individuals
- Rapid data entry
- Simple views of product and pricing information
- End to end order lifecycle from quotation to invoice
- Campaign, pipeline and sales lead management
- Seamless integration with Microsoft Office
IRIS has carved a niche for itself in online/offline deployment
of its Exchequer product.
Many of its customers rely on the ability to use Exchequer on
Notebook PCs and on PDAs, with or without internet access. Those
customers that utilise IRIS CRM will be able to access key sales
data and processes remotely and produce quotes and take orders 'on
the move'.
This mobile capability has been developed in conjunction with Intel
and provides users with the ultimate mobile experience. "The
ability to react quickly to customers' needs is essential for
businesses wishing to gain a competitive edge" commented
Steele.
IRIS Enterprise Software is going from strength to strength with
record sales for the last financial year and a move to new and much
larger premises planned to take place later in the summer to
accommodate its growing team.
IRIS CRM will available from 1st July 2007 following a
comprehensive trial programme.
