Ian Ashby has been appointed as Managing Director of Not
for Profit and Business Solutions at IRIS (www.iris.co.uk).
With a comprehensive portfolio of software,
this Business Unit has revenues of over £35m, an enviable client
list and a track record of strong growth.
It is the leading provider of business
software to a number of key industry verticals including Charities,
Distribution and Retail, Education and Training, Field Service
Management, Finance and Accounting, Government and Public Sector,
Health and NHS, Manufacturing, Membership, Sport and Transport.
Blue chip clients include: World Wildlife
Fund, CBI, Aston University, Liverpool Football Club, Dunhill,
Cable and Wireless, Interbrew and Daimler Chrysler.
Ian was previously CEO with Exony, a UK-based
software vendor focused on value-added applications for the contact
centre market, where he led the company’s rapid growth. He
brings considerable sales and marketing experience within the
telecommunications and technology/IP industries having run large
teams with NextiraOne (formerly part of Alcatel), Novar PLC, Lucent
Technologies and with the Cable and Wireless Group.
Ian will have full profit and loss
responsibility for the Business Unit and will report to IRIS Group
CEO, Martin Leuw.

customer retention rate; whilst this is already one of the highest
rates in our sector, we want to improve upon that figure.”
