3 July 2008
ShelterBox has appointed IRIS NFP Solutions, the leading
specialist supplier to the Not for Profit sector, to provide the
charity with a central contacts management database.
ShelterBox will deploy the CARE CRM &
fundraising software solution to support the charity in its
significant aid work in disaster zones around the globe. The
charity has been among the first to respond to the disasters in
Burma and China by sending thousands of ShelterBoxes, emergency
survival kits containing tents, mosquito nets, tools and water
purifying tablets, to the help relieve the devastation.
CARE will provide ShelterBox with a central
CRM system to support its future growth and to allow the
organisation to integrate its data management and external
communications. This will enable the charity to streamline
administration and automate task-heavy processes, delivering
considerable cost savings and return on investment.
With all information stored in a single
database, ShelterBox can gain a 360° view of its supporters and use
the improved knowledge to enhance service delivery and fundraising.
As ShelterBox raises all its funding independently, the powerful
segmenting, profiling and reporting tools in CARE will help the
charity to underpin its fundraising by allowing it to effectively
target its campaigns and appeals.
ShelterBox chose CARE, as it provided the best
fit for its requirements with little tailoring required. The
solution also offered immense flexibility and scalability for the
future.
Tom Henderson, CEO at ShelterBox comments:
“ShelterBox selected CARE for our central CRM due to the
breadth of functionality in the system as well as its sophisticated
tools for management reporting and performance analysis.
Furthermore, we were convinced by the professionalism and expertise
of the CARE team as well as IRIS’s strong foothold in the NFP
sector. We look forward to CARE supporting our endeavours to
provide emergency aid for those victims of disasters who need it
the most”.
The deployment of CARE is already underway,
with the expected go-live scheduled for mid-November.
Carrie Goodbourn, CARE Managing Director at
IRIS NFP Solutions says: “We are proud to be working with
ShelterBox to provide the charity with a powerful CRM and
fundraising solution helping it to deliver the extraordinary aid
work it does around the globe. CARE will deliver ShelterBox a high
level of integration and automation that will allow it to
concentrate on the essentials.”
