Job Summary
IRIS Software are currently seeking a Telemarketing Executive for our Manchester office. The successful applicant will proactively contact SME prospects as directed, promote the Iris brand in a professional manner, generate and secure quality, qualified appointments for the New Business Sales and Webex teams, and build a pipeline of opportunities to secure future sales and growth for the SME team.
Main Responsibilities
Undertake outbound telemarketing activity with SME prospects as directed 
Undertake inbound telemarketing activity with SME prospects as directed 
Book quality, qualified appointments with prospects to secure the future success of the SME business team 
Meet and exceed sales revenue targets inline with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as directed by the SME Telemarketing Team Manager 
Build, manage and maintain a pipeline of opportunities To identify cross-selling opportunities and referrals for other areas of the IRIS business 
Continually update and cleanse the prospect database with key marketing and competitor information as directed

• Preferably educated to Degree level 
• Good standard of English and Maths
Proven telesales/telemarketing experience 
B2B sales experience 
Cold Calling experience to senior management FD’s, MD’s 
Previous Sales Training: i.e. open questions, call handling, overcoming objections, persuasion skills etc.

Job Summary

It requires a self-motivated, high-performing architect with expert level skills able to work in an agile environment and lead a team of 10 engineers, together responsible for building and maintaining a platform of services used by high-volume transaction web applications.

Will help construct an overview of the state of technology within the group, highlight areas of concern, opportunities to build share services and take ownership for the technical design for new product development.

Take responsibility for embedding best practice for multiple technical disciplines across the group by building vertical teams of technical specialism from members of the existing teams.

The best candidate will have experience supporting and maintaining solutions across all phases of the application development lifecycle and across the entirety of the technology stack. Preferred experienced in utilizing automated build solutions and continued development.


Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the IRIS platform team, to stimulate creativity, confront difficult product decisions, innovate and help the company move forward technically
  • Manage the technical life-cycle of all corporate products, identifying technologies that need to move on – agreeing plans to do so
  • Ensure the whole product portfolio makes best use of all our staff skills
  • Collate and measure technical debt* in all products – with suggested mitigations; be the champion of these mitigations and ensure they are faced
  • Ensure design minimizes hardware requirements, and maximized scalability to the extent required by Product Directives
  • Ensure design requirements have considered security and protect data
  • Ensure thought for efficient on-going maintenance and product growth has been built into any design
  • Management of the centralized platform team

    • BSC or equivalent in a software engineering discipline.

     Experience /  Competencies

    • Must have operated as an enterprise level architect or chief architect before

    • Must have significant experience with Microsoft technologies

    • Must have experience with Service Orientated Architectures

    • Must be aware of security requirements and security design in software

    • Must have experience of managing a small team of technical specialists.

    • Experienced in data protection, and aware of upcoming GDPR legislation

    • Preferably a background in programming & database design

    • Useful to have experience of mobile platform architecture

    • Useful to have experience in User Experience design
