Job Summary

This is a team leader role responsible for four Field Sales representatives whose roles will be as follows: New Business Account Manager, Channel Account Manager, and Business Development Account Executives. In addition this will be a quota carrying account management role responsible for our top EARNIE customers throughout the UK.  In summary, the job holder will be responsible for generating revenue from their own existing customer base as well as managing the day to day activity of the Field Sales team.  


Main responsibilities 

Generating results & driving the team to consistently deliver against business objectives

Continually assessing the team to identify areas of improvement and development on an individual and team basis through regular coaching, 1-1 and team meetings

Motivating and monitoring the performance of the team including absence management

Managing and reporting on targets and key performance indicators

Carry out training needs analysis and implement structured coaching and individual training plans to ensure sales best practice is implemented by the whole team

Managing close plans on all senior deals

Liaising with Telesales Team Leader to develop and maintain division wide Sales standards/”best practice”

Keeping abreast with competitor information

Liaising with Product Management and Training Functions

Preparation or reports, forecasting and analysis or opportunity against target on a daily/monthly basis

Identifying potential revenue generating campaigns and working with the marketing department to help deliver them

Demonstrate role model practice in account management

Management and development of existing EARNIE customers

Providing sales support, presentations, tender responses to own customers

Maintain accurate records and submit accurate and timely reports as and when required 

Prepare and deliver presentations as and when required

Support the company’s product development process with structured feedback from customers   

To visit customer sites across the defined territory and effectively demonstrate the EARNIE range of software on a 1:1 basis and to groups  

To ensure a high standard of conduct, leadership and service as a Sales Professional, in such a way as to result in complete customer satisfaction  

To create and execute account plans and business development strategies

 

Qualifications

Preferably educated to degree level

     

Experience

Proven track record in account management at a senior level

Evidence of consistently delivering results

Previous Team Leader experience or Senior Sales offering team support

Experience of Payroll, HR or accounting software advantageous
