Job Summary

An experienced results driven Inside Sales Executive is needed to join our high profile New Business Inside Sales team based in Manchester.  This team is 80% telephone sales based & 20% field based. (F2F appointments booked and sat when/where required)  Working for IRIS Accountancy Solutions in our successful Manchester sales office, you will be responsible for the day to day running of your own New Business Territory selling our wide range of core products and Open Apps to prospects. You will also be responsible to cross & up-sell new product lines to your new customers as you will own this base for the first 12 month license.

You will be responsible your own sales performance, ensuring that you achieve set targets whilst owning & organising your patch each day.  You will implement your own daily schedule which will be you organising your time to deliver against all activities including: planning your territory, outbound campaign plans & account management to your base.  You will be responsible for managing your own pipeline and forecasting daily with your team lead and weekly to the Head of Sales and Chief Sales Officer.  This role requires a self-motivated individual who has successfully managed a territory and can demonstrate a blend of prospect & customer management both over the telephone and F2F. 


Main responsibilities 


  • Delivering number against monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Exceeding daily and monthly KPI’s
  • Implementing a personal daily schedule to ensure all activities are covered
  • Documenting a quarterly Territory Consolidation Plan which highlights key campaigns and activities to drive new opportunity and pipeline
  • Forecasting accurately through successful thorough pipeline management, ensuring your follow IRIS Sales Process and manage key deals
  • Book self-generated new business meetings either for webex or F2F
Commercial awareness:
  • Liaising with Head of Inside Sales and other Telesales Managers to develop and maintain group wide Telesales standards/”best practice”  Keeping abreast with competitor information
  • Liaising with Product Management and Training functions
  • Give constructive feedback to aid product development, identification of new business opportunities and development of marketing strategies 




  • Strong experience of managing a territory with some new business pipeline
  • B2B Telesales team/and or Field Team
  • Experience of managing Face to Face appointments through to closed billings/revenue
  • Strong experience in forecasting and pipeline management
  • Demonstrate consistent performance through previous results
  • Experience of over achievement



  • Experience of Accounting & Finance software in an IT software environment
  • Selling both F2F and over the telephone



Degree preferable

Educated to GCSE / A level

Good English and Maths
