Programme Details 

In 2016 IRIS will be recruiting one accountancy summer intern.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a team to analyse changes in legislation, interpret it and to document how the software will need to be altered to ensure that it remains legislatively compliant.

UK legislation is currently going through major changes and there are key deadlines to be hit.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about alternative accountancy based career opportunities where you will gain insight in to final accounts presentation and disclosure needs and to gain valuable experience in using software that accountancy practices have come to rely on.

You will also get the opportunity to learn about compliance based software production and to work alongside software engineers and quality engineers to make sure that the changes are delivered to the highest quality level.

The role will require an eye for detail and brining a focused attitude to the tasks.

We are looking for the most talented and ambitious candidates who have outstanding communication skills and an enthusiastic approach. Equally important are initiative, creative thinking and problem solving skills.

Applicants should be starting their final year of their course in September/October 2016 and should be studying one of the following disciplines

• Accounting and Finance

• Applied Accounting

• Business studies that included accountancy topics


• Another accountancy based or degree
