Job Summary

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the development & execution of SME tactical marketing plans whilst managing to defined deadlines. The role will involve tactical implementation and management of the lead generation campaigns, sales marketing support and marketing communications programmes to positively impact sales revenue targets, grow market share & deliver on pre-defined ROI. The role encompasses both new business and existing customer base activities – e.g. outbound mail, email & telesales campaigns, new media initiatives / online lead generation (SEO, PPC, social networking), brand awareness / PR, sponsorships and the development of internal / 3rd party referral schemes. The role also requires close working relationships with Product Management and Sales teams and other IRIS Group Marketing teams to ensure the successful outcome of all marketing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all campaign briefs are effectively delivered and understood by the telesales teams
  • Provide event management support as required
  • Timely implementation of marketing campaigns to generate maximum return & achieve agreed revenue targets
  • Marketing project schedule effectively prioritizing multiple activities
  • Monitor & report on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns & activities
  • Analyse results of all marketing activities to ensure resources being deployed in the most effective manner
  • Assist in establishing online lead generation programmes effectively utilizing the latest technologies and techniques available to acquire new business and increase market share
  • Establish and manage online communications programmes to cross sell and up sell to existing customer base
  • Develop the IRIS brands within key target markets to increase awareness & drive inbound enquiries
  • Ensure all marketing communications materials meet business requirements and present a consistent brand message / image
  • Assist in maintaining key editorial control over all marketing communications (external & internal) and all marketing collateral
  • Establish relationship with external PR agency – ensuring agency works as a natural extension to the internal team

Cross-Department / Cross-Division Relations:

Work closely with internal teams within own division and across the Group to develop relationships & ensure coordinated messaging & scheduling of activities

Work with other Group divisions on joint-marketing campaigns & activities to generate reciprocal business & referral opportunities

Work closely with telemarketing team to ensure ongoing and consistent briefing of marketing campaigns and tracking of leads through the sales cycle

Project Management:

Manage & coordinate and schedule multiple projects & activities to defined deadlines, enlisting support from other departments & bringing in additional resources as required

Key skills required:

Experience of producing high quality sales copy for email broadcasts, website and direct mail

Experience of managing email broadcast and Direct Mail projects, including project and supplier management

An understanding of digital Marketing channels

Advanced user of Excel, Word & Powerpoint

User of Photoshop or other design software

Production of Marketing reports

Qualifications

  • Degree level education in a business related subject or commensurate experience
  • Marketing qualifications (advantageous)

Experience

  • Commercial Marketing experience (essential)

  • Hands on experience of creating and editing sales copy for direct response marketing (essential)
  • Online marketing understanding (SEO, PPC, social networking) (essential)
  • Hands on experience of online communications, lead generation, CRM software and telesales campaigns (essential)
  • Experience of dealing with multiple sales channels (essential)
  • Experience within software / technology sector (desirable)
