Job Summary

IRIS is the leading provider of cloud services to the UK accountancy and payroll sectors. Almost 5,000 accountancy practices now use at least one cloud solution from the Iris Cloud Suite to connect to a community of over 213,000 subscribing customers, including 112,000 small businesses who in turn communicate pay slip and pension information to more than 101,000 employees.

The role requires proactively contacting Payroll prospects as directed. You will promote the Iris brand in a professional manner and generate and secure quality, qualified appointments for the Sales team and will build a pipeline of opportunities to secure future sales and growth for the Payroll division.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • To undertake outbound telemarketing activity with SME prospects as directed
  • To undertake inbound telemarketing activity with SME prospects as directed
  • To book quality, qualified appointments with prospects to secure the future success of the SME business team
  • To meet and exceed sales revenue targets inline with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as directed by the SME Telemarketing Team Manager
  • To build, manage and maintain a pipeline of opportunities
  • To identify cross-selling opportunities and referrals for other areas of the IRIS business
  • To continually update and cleanse the prospect database with key marketing and competitor information as directed
