Job Summary

To proactively contact IAS prospects as directed by Telemarketing Manager. This will include marketing leads and call out data campaigns. To promote the Iris brand in a professional manner. To generate and secure quality, qualified meetings either F2F or webex (campaign dependant) for the Field and or Inside Sales teams. To build a pipeline of opportunities to secure future meetings.


Main Responsibilities

To undertake outbound telemarketing activity with IAS prospects as directed
To undertake inbound telemarketing activity with IAS prospects as directed
To book quality, qualified meetings with prospects to secure the future success of the IAS business team
To meet and exceed booked meetings targets inline with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as directed by the IAS Telemarketing Team Manager
To build, manage and maintain a pipeline of opportunities
To identify cross-selling opportunities and referrals for other areas of the IRIS business
To continually update and cleanse the prospect database with key marketing and competitor information as directed

Educated to GCSE / A level

Good English and Maths



Proven telesales/telemarketing experience
Knowledge of accountancy profession, professional services automation or generic IT software products would be advantageous.
B2B sales experience
Cold Calling experience to senior management FD’s, MD’s
Previous Sales Training: i.e. open questions, call handling, overcoming objections, persuasion skills etc.
Pipeline management

Excellent listener and communicator
Good organisation and admin skills
Ability to work to targets and deadlines
