March Manchester Friends of Auto Enrolment Meeting

By Louise Mulgrew | 3rd March 2015 | 2 min read

Following an extremely successful inaugural Manchester Friends of Auto Enrolment meeting last month, the next meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday 11th March at 3pm and you can attend absolutely free.

The event is being hosted at the offices of IRIS Software; Faulkner House, Faulkner Street, Manchester M1 4DY.

The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) have created the Friends of Auto Enrolment initiative to help ensure that businesses are ready to meet their responsibilities when they reach their staging dates.

The Manchester regional group is chaired by Zoe Colver; Marketing Manager at IRIS Software and is co-chaired by Ronnie Wainwright of Avensure.

At the Manchester Friends of Auto Enrolment you will get the chance to meet and network with like-minded businesses to find out how they are preparing for auto enrolment and what difficulties they are facing.

Another great reason to attend is you can learn from industry experts and guest speakers on their experiences with auto enrolment. The government backed pension provider; NEST; will also be attending to give a talk at the meeting. This will give attendees an excellent insight into auto enrolment from the perspective of a pension provider.

If you are not from Manchester or the surrounding areas, check to see if you have a Friends of Auto Enrolment group in your area. The benefits are clear to those attending and the initiative is spreading quickly across the country in order to help better prepare people for auto enrolment and the workplace pension reform.

There is a main Friends of Auto Enrolment group on LinkedIn where you can check to see if there is a group that is local to you that you can attend. You can also visit the Friends of Auto Enrolment website.
