The Manchester Friends of Auto Enrolment have scheduled their first meeting for Thursday 5th February. Register now completely free of charge to attend and meet guest speakers as well as like-minded individuals.

The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) launched the Friends of Auto Enrolment on 16th January 2015 in a response to mounting market anxieties for employers to stay compliant with the latest legislation. It is the first and only organisation in the country that is both a pensions automatic enrolment discussion forum and a mechanism for employers to find solutions and is being viewed as a "collaboration catalyst".

The Manchester division, chaired by IRIS software's Zoe Colver, has scheduled its first meeting for Thursday 5th February between 10am and 12pm. The event is open to all those that are involved with payroll, pensions, software and advisory organisations; plus all the IFA’s, EBC’s, employer groups and professional associations.

The group will give attendees an excellent opportunity to meet with other likeminded individuals to talk about any problems they may have around auto enrolment.

The meeting is open to those that have and have not reached their staging date. Auto enrolment is an ongoing process that affects your payroll every month. Those that have already staged are welcome to come along and learn from other businesses payroll processes, share their advice and even lend a thought to the "dos and don'ts" of auto enrolment.

Some of the guest speakers at the event will be:

  • Neil Esslemont - Head of Industry Liaison at The Pensions Regulator
  • Frank Dixon - Director at Workplace Advice Group, workplace pension specialists
  • Andrew Hennessy (Director)
  • Stephen Balfe (Consultant) at Avensure, HR/Employment Law consultancy
