Drummohr Product Launcher

The Drummohr Product Launcher has been a huge success since its launch in October 2011. Since then we have continued to improve the content to ensure our customers gain the maximum benefits. Over the last few months you will have seen:

  • Improvements to the tax data. In October we incorporated tax data from Tolley allowing practitioners access to the tax information they require on a daily basis.
  • RTI Page keeping customers aware of the biggest change to PAYE since its introduction in 1944
  • Call wait times updated with live product queues and average call wait times
Product Hints & Tips updated every 2 weeks
  • Major announcements from HRMC, Companies House etc.

The major legislative change that comes into force from April 2013 is Real Time Information (RTI) when processing Payroll. IRIS Payroll for Accountants is a complementary product to Drummohr, supporting accountants who run payroll for their clients. IRIS has worked closely with HMRC to ensure all our payroll products are RTI compliant prior to the April 2013 deadline including IRIS Payroll for Accountants.

Introduced in October 2012 IRIS Payroll for Accountants is a comprehensive bureau solution for accountants offering a client payroll service. With integration to IRIS OpenBooks, IRIS Payroll for Accountants delivers everything you could ask for in the most comprehensive payroll package.

We’ve also responded to customer feedback with performance improvements across our portfolio:

  • Enhancements to Tax Assistant to handle the new Child Benefit Charge
  • Calculation of Class 4 NIC for Non-resident client if majority of earned income arises in UK
  • Enhancements to the AIA calculation for long accounting periods

And as always we’ve resolved a number of customer reported issues to help make your working day that little bit easier.
