Problem

When trying to preview pay variations for a historic period via "Extensions" > "Pay History" > "View History Table" OR "Extensions" > "Pay History" > "Select Historic Period" user gets the error:

error in payslip.frm payslip form sub PayP_load_data PayP load data 91 object variable or with block variable not set

Resolution

This error will occur when trying to preview the historic pay variations for any employee who was set to NI rate D for the period being viewed.

This issue is related to the removal of the NI rate D in the current tax year and will be corrected with a future update.

Please Note: This will only affect employee who where previously set to NI rate D.

To workaround this issue we recommend you preview an actual payslip for the period. Make sure to select the appropriate week/month and tax year on the report options:

select a historic period when printing payslips

Alternatively, if your query is regarding the previous tax year, you can use the option “Year-End” > “Use Last Year’s Company Data” to temporarily load last tax years data. The options from the extension menu are not affected by the NI rate D when using the last year’s data option.
