  • How to access a Memorised Report Introduction If there is a report(s) that will be used on a regular basis or you would like to keep it for future use, it is possible to memorise the report. For example, you may wish to memorise a report for monitoring job workflow in Practice Management. Memorising a report To memorise a report in Practice Management:
  • Log on to IRIS Practice Management from the IRIS Main Menu
  • The Staff Control Panel will be displayed. Click on Reports | Management Reports | Workflow reports.
  • Ensure the settings are as you want them on all tabs. For example, select the job type in the Options tab, the period range if necessary and the correct columns that you would like displayed.
  • Click on the Memorise button
  • Enter an identifier (up to 10 characters), for example ACC REP
  • Enter a description. For example, Month end accounts report.
  • Select the privacy level i. Public : Selecting this option allows all staff members to access the report and run it. ii. Private : Selecting this option only allows the owner and Master user to access the report. iii. Restricted : Selecting this option will allow the owner and other staff members that
  • When you select the restricted radio button, the ‘To Staff’ button will be available to be selected. The ‘Staff Permitted to access report XXX’ screen will be displayed. Tick the staff members who you would like to nominate so that they could access the report and click on the OK button.
  • Click on Memorise button. Run a memorised report To run a memorised report:
  • Log on to IRIS Practice Management from the IRIS Main Menu.
  • The Staff Control Panel will be displayed. Click on Reports | Memorised Reports.
  • Memorised Report Definition screen will be displayed. Select the privacy level.
  • Double click on the report that you would like to run.
  • The report will be displayed. Make the relevant changes for example the date changes or period changes.
  • Click on the OK button to run the report. NOTE: The original Memorised version will stay the same if the report is accessed again. This can be changed by re-Memorising the report.
