- During the IRIS Upgrade Scan #1 you may get an error that statesIs Database='IRIS' on Server='ComputerIRISPRACTICE ' already in use?
- Resolution
- This usually indicates that the IRIS program may be open in the background.
- Make sure the Main Menu is not open.
- Make sure you have any active windows closed i.e. Accounts Production, Business Tax, Automail.
- If all windows are closed, select CTRL – ALT – DELETE and choose Start Task Manager
- Select the Processes Tab and scroll down to the processes beginning with the letter “I” and make sure to
- close IrisPortalMenu.exe, iwinaprd.exe or iwinptax.exe or any other ‘iwinxxx.exe tasks.
- Restart the PC and retry the update.
