Problem

Can I set up Public/Bank Holidays so that they are automatically posted to a timesheet?

Resolution

The Practice Closed Dates section of the Time ledger allows you to enter Bank Holidays, or any dates where the office is closed affecting all staff members. To set a new Practice Closed Date up log into the Time ledger:
  • Open IRIS Time from IRIS Main Menu
  • Click on File | Non-Charge | Public Holidays
  • Enter the date (e.g 01/08/2014)
  • Tick box whether it is the whole day, or 1/2 day (am or pm)
  • Enter the non-charge activity to be used
  • Enter a description
  • Click on Add to List. When the timesheet is created the system will check for any Practice Closed Dates and enter these postings automatically. If the timesheet has already been created the system will not post these entries in.
