Problem
After clicking on the Prepare FBI Files button, a pre filing validation appears: The Pattern constraint failed. Tag is 'BusinessDescription' [EndElement]. Line 99, position 72'
Resolution
To resolve the validation please do the following in PTP Tax Platform:
– View the Self Assessment Return
– Go to page 2 of the return
– Click on the backing schedule of Self-employment
– Highlight the correct Self-employment
– Click on the View button
– Click on the Edit button (on the left hand side of the screen)
– Enter the Business description (at the top, right hand side of the screen
– Click on the OK button
– Prepare FBI Files again
