Client obligations are not appearing within IRIS VAT Filer
Resolution
  • Reset Agent Credentials
  • Select Client Refresh
  • Expand date range in the Date Range section to include the obligations that are expected
  • Select Client Refresh
  • If you have only recently signed the client/business up for VAT MTD(as shown here), you MUST wait for the confirmation email from HMRC to confirm you have signed up.
  • In some cases, after the confirmation email has been received the software will say that the client’s obligations have been retrieved, however you will need to wait a few days for the obligations to be retrieved from HMRC. We therefore advise to set the client/business up at least 1 week before the obligation is due.
  • Contact HMRC as the obligations are sent by HMRC.
