Problem
The clients Electronic Tax return is being rejected with following error: "Error 4065 in /hd:GovTalkMessage[1]/hd:Body[1]/MRT:IRenvelope[1]/MTR Invalid content found in element 'AccountNumber'".
Resolution
This message indicates that there is a problem with the bank account number in the repayment claim; this can be amended as follows: 1. Log on to IRIS Personal Tax and select the client. 2. Click on the Relief’s tab, click Miscellaneous. 3. Click on Repayment Claim and edit the details of the bank account number so it is 8 digits only. Note: – Once this alteration has been made, the Electronic Tax return must be reprinted before it can be retransmitted.
