Clients are receiving internal server error when connecting to HMRC servers for HMRC retrieval and VAT Filer
Resolution

HMRC have confirmed there was an issue with all digital services yesterday afternoon, this has now been resolved by HMRC and services are up and running. HMRC have planned downtime from till Friday 20th December 6am, you will not be able to connect or retrieve data till this time. Please refer to the HMRC website.

You may need to reset the credentials once the servers are back up and running. To do so please follow the steps in the KB below.
