Some users have reported the following error come up which causes the software to close down and the return to be locked
Resolution

This problem is occurring if the return has been closed down in a particular manner which does not fully end all processes behind the scenes.  When the next return, or the same return, is viewed the message appears.  This will be corrected in the next release.  However the following may help in the meantime.

If closing a return please use the X at the top of the return itself above pages 1-8, where the X is white on a red background, as opposed to pressing the X at the top right of the screen, where the X is black on a grey background.

If a return has been locked as a result of the error message it can be unlocked by going to the Spanner icon > Security tab > enter username and password (default is ptp and master) > Users with locked returns tab > highlight relevant user > press Unlock Returns for selected users.
