Resolution
When trying to file a Charity set of accounts with Companies House you may encounter the following error
Error Code: 9999
Error Type: fatal
Error Message: Charity Unaudited small full accounts – AverageNumberEmployeesDuringPeriod – element must be provided for the current accounting period.
This is a defect found in versions 20.1 onwards of IRIS. To resolve this error please follow the steps below
In IRIS Accounts Production | Reports | Annual | IXBRL | CHA | Tick copy to be filed at Companies House | Print report
Once the IXBRL copy of the accounts have opened please scroll down to the staff costs section within the Notes to Financial Statements and select ‘Show Taggable Items’ which is located on the top left of the screen. Click on the average number of employees figure and click on concept Label and look search for the averagenumberofemployeesduringtheperiod
