Problem
IRIS Personal Tax- Partnership profit incorrect on Trade/Tax Comp but SA100 is correct - affects 25.1.3 and 25.1.4.42
Resolution
The Partnership share of taxable profits is correct in the partnership SA100, under the PT trade summary section.
However for the Tax computation and Trade computation and the Schedules of Data- the partnership income shows a different (lower) value and looking at the trade computation the software has calculated an unexpected apportionment of dates eg 340/365 and removing a set number of days profit.
Rental property: if you have Partnership rental profit which is incorrect on FP3 3 Box 37 – Read this KB
Interest/savings: If you have Partnership Interest/savings profit and shows an adjustment to Savings FP3 Box 29 – Read this KB
This has been confirmed as a DEFECT which can affect IRIS versions 25.1.3 and 25.1.4.42.
There is a JULY fix released on IRIS version 25.2.0 now out. If the data is originally from BT and still incorrect in PT then go to BT and refresh the data to PT and then check PT again.
