Can I create more Sub Accounts?

If a user wishes to add Sub Accounts to an account within IRIS Accounts Production please note the following situations: Accounts with NO default Sub Accounts Accounts which do not have Sub Accounts as default per the Chart of Accounts can have Sub Accounts added i.e. account 285 becomes 285/1, 285/2 etc Note: These are treated as components of the main account and will NOT be shown seperately on the Financial Statements, although the Trial Balance will list each sub account seperately. Accounts WITH default Sub Accounts Accounts which have Sub Accounts already allocated as default per the Chart of Accounts can NOT have further Sub Accounts added i.e. account 525/1, 525/2 etc Note: If users attempt to add further Sub Accounts to these accounts IRIS will ignore any balance on the Financial Statements. If an account has a Sub Account allocated as default these will appear seperately in the Financial Statements i.e. Trading and Profit and Loss Account.
