Problem
In the IRIS Accountancy Suite version 11.9.0 in the Module Fixed Asset Register clients are getting a Permissions Warning message, which affects different areas within Fixed Asset Register. i.e. When trying to log into the Fixed Asset Register or inserting a New Asset.
Resolution
This is due to the fact that there are new privileges that need to be set up for the Fixed Asset Register.
Users are required to:
1. Log into IRIS Accountancy Suite as the MASTER user
2. Click on System Maintenance
3. Select Staff | Staff Maintenance
4. Select a staff member and click on View
5. Select the tab Privileges and under Fixed Assets – ensure that all relevant options are ticked and click on Save
6. This will need to be done for every member of staff that uses the Fixed Asset Register
