Problem
Clients have advised that when trying to file a 2016 return they are getting a message as follows:- Date of commencement IF after 05/04/2015 and the software is automatically entering either the Incorporated date or the trading commenced date.
Resolution
This has been resolved in our Service Pack that was released in May.
Therefore please upgrade to our Service Pack.
Options:
1. To file a paper return.
2. Wait until the service pack has been released.
3. Remove the incorporated and trading commenced date – this option should only be used if the partnership has been running for some time and therefore other accounting periods exist. If you do remove the incorporated and trading commenced date we would suggest that you generate the return and file it and then enter the dates back in.
