Problem
Clients have advised that when entering a new asset within Capital Allowances/A-Maintain Assets and ticks to include in the General Pool, the entry shows correctly in the computation but when going back into the asset the tick has moved from General Pool to Special Rate Pool.
Resolution
This was resolved in our Service Pack that was released in May 2015. Therefore please update to the latest version of IRIS.
Even though the tick shows in the Special Rate Pool box the computation and calculation of the asset is correct within the Capital Allowance Section.
Do not choose to recalculate or the computation will be incorrect.
If you are still encountering a problem then please remove the tick from the special rate pool box within your asset that has been entered under Edit/Capital Allowances/A-Maintain and click OK.
Then select B-Recalculate and then when going into C-Maintain your asset will be showing.
