Problem
Text regarding "Unspecified directors" may appear on the corporation tax computation where postings have been made to directors remuneration but, - the directors have not been setup - the directors have not been given an acccounting order - if the client is attached to an enhanced chart and the directors postings have been allocated to director 0.
Resolution
Users are required to ensure that the directors have been set up correctly and given an accounting order.
If the client is on an enhanced chart (ELTD) the postings for directors remuneration will have to be allocated to the correct director number in Accounts Production.
To do this go into the posting entry in Accounts Production and amend any directors remuneration postings allocated to unspecificed directors, these will be displayed as aaa/s/*0. (aaa = the account number, s = sub account number)
When the amend posting screen appears click on the account magnifier and select Directors. Double click on the correct director and OK on the Amend posting screen.
