Problem
It has been reported that some users are unable to access PTP Platform through the launcher getting either the following message:
'PTP Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close'
'PTP Launcher has stopped working'
Resolution
The following steps will help you to resolve this problem.
1. Right click on the PTP launcher and select ‘Properties’
2. Select either ‘Find Target’ or ‘Open file location’
3. Locate the file called PTP.ini (Configuration file)
4. Open this file and locate the Entry ‘DATABASEDIR’
5. Change this so it reads ‘DatabaseDir’
6. Then locate ‘SERVERSMDBPATH’
7. Change this so it reads ‘ServersMDBPath’
8. Click on ‘file’ then ‘save’
9. Close the PTP.ini file now
