Problem
Why am I getting the following error message on the Balance sheet for my Soletrader set of accounts?
Balance sheet - does not balance - Please check that all postings have been made to accounts used on
Partnership/Sole trader formats.
Resolution
This maybe occurring due to a date conflict. For example, if your accounts are for Year ended 30 October 2002 and you have an end date entered for the trader of 30 October 2001.
To check that you do not have a date entered that would cause a conflict click Edit | Proprietor
Click View
Remove the date and click OK to save.
