Problem

All users receive the following error when opening Microsoft Outlook: Unable to Initialise IRIS Docs Email Assistant

Resolution

A system service will need to be restarted to resolve this issue, please find the steps below to assist with this:
  • Connect onto the Server which IRIS docs is installed
  • Click Start
  • Type Run and select programme
  • Type services.msc
  • Click OK
  • Restart the INVU ECM Service After restarting the service users will need to close/reopen outlook to initialise the IRIS email assistant addin.
