Problem
Why am I getting the following error when opening the iXBRL editor? 'The document author has not been recognised, only IRIS generated accounts files can be loaded into the iXBRL editor.'
Resolution
This is usually because the previous period end for the current year post file is incorrect.
To correct this, go to Posting | Post file maintenance | Entries | select current year | change – change previous period end.
You will need to run and save a new iXBRL copy.
