Problem
Account period end date falls within the 2008 tax year. When the tax year in the client toolbar is changed to 2008 the dates 06/04/07 and 05/04/08 appear in boxes 3.4 and 3.5 of the Partnership Tax return.
Resolution
The guidance in the Self Assessment Partnership Tax Return Guide page 7 states that if no accounts end in 2007-08 users are required to:
1. Provide details of the partnership’s income and expenses for the period 6 April 2007 to 5 April 2008, and
2. Enter 6 April 2007 to 5 April 2008 in boxes 3.4 and 3.5.
