IRIS Software Group acquires Hosted Accountants

The UK’s leading mission-critical software and services provider, IRIS Software Group, is today announcing it has acquired Hosted Accountants, a provider of hosted desktop, telephony and other cloud-based technologies to UK accountancy firms.
Hosted Accountants was founded in 2008 to bring IT consultancy services to the UK Accountancy sector. Since 2015, the business has experienced strong growth driven by a partnership with IRIS for the provision of IRIS Hosting, its cost-effective, secure and scalable solution for accountancy practice IT management.
The acquisition further consolidates IRIS’ position as the leading provider of accountancy software. Hosted Accountants extends the IRIS portfolio through the provision of hosted services and other value-added IT support, including telephony and core IT services.
