PS Connect wins Teach Secondary 2020 Award
PS Connect, a powerful parental engagement product from IRIS Software Group, has been awarded a Teach Secondary 2020 award in the School Business category.
The product was awarded 5 stars by an expert panel of judges, including Independent Education Consultant and Author David Didau, Teacher Development Programmes Manager Sarah Harrison and Director of BMAT Teaching School Donna Walsh.
PS Connect is a highly effective parent communication platform that can send messages directly to parents’ smartphones. Parents can also fill in forms, book parents’ evening slots and make school payments directly to the school using the free parent app.
The judges were impressed by the comprehensive set of parental engagement tools that the system offers, stating: “A sleek and intuitive system which provides a complete comms package for schools, which really does seem to have thought of everything. The integration of an online parent payment platform is an exciting new step forward linking the Admin and Finance processes together in a way that hasn’t been seen before. Exciting stuff. I want it!”
IRIS believe in rapid software development cycles to meet their customers’ needs – and this award proves the value of this approach. Jim Charvill, Head of Engineering at IRIS had this to say of the award: “During the recent pandemic, our teams have been working incredibly responsively to ensure our PS Connect solution can exceed customer needs.
