Problem
When trying to alter employee details you get the error:
An error has occurred
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Resolution
If this occurs when changing details for a female employee it is likely we need to remove old SMP details from the employee record.
Within the employee details click on the blue text “Auto Absence Calculation” in the top right-hand corner of the window.
On the calendar view window you need to click on the “Detail View” tab.
In the detail view window you need to highlight and then click the delete button for any old SMP dates you find in the list.
Once all of these old dates are removed you will be able to save the employee details as normal.
