Problem

When trying to send an EPS user gets the error
The submission of this document has failed due to departmental specific logic in the body tag. [DEMINIMISSTATEAID] must be present if [EMPLOYEMENTALLOWANCEINDICATOR] equals 'yes'

Resolution

This error occurs because your company data has an invalid combination of De minimis state aid and Employment allowance.

Most commonly we see this error when a user has incorrectly selected the option “De minimis state aid does not apply”.

To resolve this error, correct the option selected for De minimis state aid found:

IRIS Payroll Business & IRIS Bureau Payroll:
Company” | “Company Details” | “HMRC” | “State Aid

Earnie & Earnie IQ:
Company” | “Alter Company Options” | “State Aid

GP Payroll:
Setup/Options” | “12 – Tax/NI Parameters” | “State Aid

PAYE-Master:
Pay” | “Employment Allowance” | “State Aid
