Problem

When running the payroll trying to save changes to an employee Error: unable to save changes to payment details couldn't update currently locked by user

Resolution

  • Close the program making sure all users are out of the system
  • From the login prompt enter your administrator username and password
  • Select Operators/Groups from the main menu
  • Select Clear Operator Locks
  • You should receive a message saying ‘System multi user locks cleared.’
  • Click OK You can now close the program and log in as normal.
