IRIS Business Tax- Capital Allowances incorrect if Accounting Periods longer than 18 months
Resolution
BT is not creating 2 capital allowance periods / computations where the period is in excess of 18 months.
This issue has been confirmed as a DEFECT by the IRIS Development Software Team and will be fixed in IRIS Version 25.1.0, which is due to be released April 2025. Please see the workaround below: –
- Go to Business Tax
- Go to Edit
- Capital Allowances
- E – maintain pool – manually adjust the WDA figures”.
