Problem

IRIS Business Tax- Invalid data entry: PAYENICforWhichTheCompanyIsLiableInThisAccountingPeriod

Resolution

2026 issue: 3001 4065 This is linked to a R&D claim and a known HMRC schema to be updated and awaiting to be released 6th April 2026 (It is coming from HMRC and not from IRIS- do regenerate and submit after this date). There is no other workaround but to await this HMRC update or to submit a paper return.

This is a DEFECT in IRIS Software Version 24.3.2. This issue will be FIXED in IRIS Version 25.1.0, which is due to be released in April 2025. Unfortunately, there is no workaround.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
