If you have a RDEC Expenditure claim and it gives a payable tax credit then you generate a CT600 you get a validation: Payable RDEC Box L125 must equal Box L105 minus the sum of Boxes L120 and L123. If you try and submit and you get error 9766.
This is a defect affecting IRIS versions 22.1.0 and 22.1.2 and 22.1.4.3 and we are planning to release a fix this July/August 2022.
Check the CT600L form – if there are any incorrect value entries like on L125, L105, L120 and L123 then it will be caused by this defect. However if the CT600, CT600L and tax comp are correct and you need to submit it urgently then post it to HMRC.
