IRIS Business Tax-Period Start Date not known, Library Error-Illegal CTAP - you get two different pop warnings and BT crashes
Resolution
This is normally an incorrect CTAP period you have saved in AP/BT for the company – you will need to check if its all correct
Load client in BT then:
Client
View
Periods
Look and review all dates entered
Also check all start and commence dates for the business
As the error does state a ILLEGAL CTAP
Users have reported an incorrect CTAP period or there was an interim period with no postings so they unticked interim period and allowed access to the period.
